Visit to Ringwood May 2025
We are looking forward to our French guests from Pont-Audemer visiting Ringwood in May 2025.
Ringwood Twinning Association has arranged various events over four days. These include a guided tour to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution headquarters at Poole, with lunch, and on another evening an indoor curling competition.
There will also be a civic reception and lunch at Greyfriars attended by the town mayor.
Visit to Pont-Audemer May 2024
In May 2024 sixteen members of the Ringwood Twinning Association travelled to Normandy to visit Ringwood’s twin town and spent four days in Pont Audemer. The majority stayed with our French hosts in their homes and were made very welcome. Our visit included a civic reception and a folk dancing evening. We also enjoyed trips to Monet’s garden at Giverney and to Honfleur. Some of the group also went on a guided tour of the old central part of the town.
